I think that's a great idea Jerrilynn—I wish you all the success. I agree with Michelle. You should look into Google and Facebook for some ideas. As a trade publication (www.wphospitalnews.com), we have tried to cover as many women health care professionals as possible. We reach out to local PR agencies and women-based business organizations for story ideas.

I was so excited to read your post!!! I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Although there is a big network of women with thriving businesses, I rarely hear about them through the traditional news media in my local area. Don't forget San Francisco and Silicon Valley. As you know, some of the best ideas i.e. Google, Apple and Facebook are located here. There are also some very well known women owned businesses that are headquartered in the heart of Silicon Valley such as Tiny Prints. If you need introductions to amazing businesses women in the Bay Area, please let me know.
